Your future plans

Partnering & Transactions (P&T) is the M&A and Corporate Development function of RWE Offshore. P&T serves as a strategic pillar to the business, responsible for identifying and structuring investment opportunities. P&T is the forefront function for buy-side and sell-side transactions and for strategic joint ventures.

  • You will support the design and structuring of transactions based on a strategic mandate of the RWE Group in the field of offshore wind and/or offshore-to-X (e.g. Hydrogen)
  • You will support the strategy and execution of transactions in the US
  • You will assist in coordinating a diverse, multi-disciplinary transaction team and support the lead negotiator in negotiations with potential or existing partners/investors
  • You will perform analysis and market research
  • You will support interface management and/or coordination and collaboration with various RWE Renewables technology and support functions
  • You will provide input to and/or lead the creation of materials for the Board of Directors and management presentations for internal/external stakeholders

Your profile

  • University degree in finance, economics, law or mergers & acquisitions; MBA, CFA or similar post-graduate degrees are a plus
  • At least 1-2 years past experience with partnership, corporate development or transactions experience providing analysis or strategy support to a renewable energy or power industry related field
  • Excellent strategic and analytical thinking skills
  • Initial negotiation experience of relevant contracts in the area of partnerships or M&A an advantage
  • Enthusiasm and high motivation to work in an international and fast changing environment
  • Strong personal ability to operate in different cultural environments
