Purpose of Position

The Events Manager, Lead is part of a team that executes over 150+ Customer, Prospect, and internal events annually that are focused on customer retention, prospect acquisition and strengthening the bond between the Employee and the Company. The Events Manager, Lead is accountable for the entirety of the event process including conceptualizing, facilitating, executing, and debriefing a broad range of high-profile events that vary in size from 25 to over 1000 guests. Day to day role includes managing individual event budgets, defining requirements for event invitations, event branding on-site, food and beverage needs, rentals, venue design and layout, decor, entertainment, and security needs all while ensuring flawless event execution. The Events Manager, Lead is the lead role in site and vendor selection, contract negotiations, alliance partner coordination, and program development. The individual needs to be able to successfully analyze challenges, identify alternative solutions, and impacts of proposed actions and implement recommendations in support of event objectives and timelines both leading up to and on site at events. Role will also include presentation of event plans and communication with all levels of leadership as well as the ability to track, review, and analyze events and highlight trends to determine areas for improvement. Fostering relationships with key internal teams, stakeholders and vendors will be critical as is ensuring responses to requests and inquiries occur in a timely, customer-focused, and professional manner. The Events Manager, Lead interfaces regularly with Sales, Owner Services, Procurement, Legal and Company leadership and must ensure that event budgeting, strategy and goals are consistent with those of the organization. The Events Manager, Lead position requires 35% travel to events country-wide.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Executes event goals, objectives and specific implementation plans that promote the NetJets, Inc. brand, including all subsidiaries
  • Executes and debriefs the largest, most high profile planned events with a constant focus on budget parameters and cost savings opportunities. Lead role in site and vendor selection, contract negotiations, alliance partner coordination, and program development
  • Identifies opportunities, potential conflicts and other issues related to the successful execution of events. Identifies issues and facilitates solutions regarding the issues that affect events.
  • Executes on-site event including coordination with Sales team and NetJets Leadership participants.
  • Ensures onsite budget management and flawless execution.

Base Salary Range

$97,000 - $131,000
