What is the Opportunity?

  • Provide exceptional trade support coverage for Quantitative Strategies Group trading desks
  • Primary focus of role is on day-to-day deliverables, developing solutions based upon subject expertise, and occasionally representing the department or function at a broader level. This person is able to document procedures and process flows independently, perform user testing for process enhancements and is seen as a go-to-person for day questions from other areas.

What will you do?

  • Day-to-day focus is on resolution of complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines or processes.
  • Roles at this level would usually have full ownership for one or more processes, reports, procedures or products, and may also be considered analytical or procedural "experts" representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables.
  • Booking of Bond, Equity, ETF, Future, Swap and FX trades from QSG desk instruction
  • Booking of ETF Creation/Redemption transactions and cash components/fees
  • Trade confirmations for Central Funding ETF, LLC ETF, and Fixed Income desks within QSG.
  • Products covered include: ETF Creation/Redemptions, Treasuries, Corporates, Domestic/International Equities, Municipals, CLOs, ABS, MBS, CMO, FX, Futures, Swaps and Options.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Assist in the research and resolution of various equity and FI corporate actions, including processing on behalf of the trading desk.
  • Review and resolve all position, trade and cash reconciliation breaks (GTS, Sophis, TOMS, ICI, ADP).
  • Monitor ACT / TRACE reporting exceptions thru surveillance and daily reports.
  • Liaise with P&S / Settlement teams for Fed, DTC, and Euroclear securities to resolve settlement and RTTM exceptions.
  • Manage the onboarding process for Bahamas Branch / CMA / LLC counterparties.
  • Test new products and flows as the trading system enhancements.
  • Manage monthly TBA pool deliveries in TOMS
  • 2-5 years of professional experience

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $75,000- $105,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
