Title: Senior Project Manager

Reports to: Director, IT Business Solutions

Location: Louisville, KY, Local to Terex Site Preferred (hybrid schedule working in-office 3 days a week and remotely for the rest)

Work Schedule:Full Time

About the Position:

The Project Manager will simultaneously manage several IT projects within the Terex Materials Processing Segment. The projects will react to business demand and will cover all areas of the business depending on the project needs of the business with current focus on digitalization of our manufacturing facilities, migration into the global ERP systems (Oracle eBusiness) and integration driven from acquisitions. This position will be the day-to-day point person on several projects at a time.

In this role you will be required to work with third party software providers, internal and external resources to deliver seamless solutions to our internal stakeholder's teams. The candidate is a seasoned professional with experience across multiple technologies and will provide advanced expertise in a complex project management environment along with experience in mentoring less-experienced staff. Additionally required:

  • Drive standard practices in managing requests working closely with business leads,

  • Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project-oriented work efforts,

  • Accountable for risk identification, mitigation and escalation through proper channels

  • Functions independently with limited work direction where work is reviewed periodically and on an exception basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the roll out of IT projects across locations by Project Managing one or more sub-streams and acting as a liaison and relationship manager between the business stakeholders, internal and external IT across time zones

  • Lead and ensure that project objectives, scope, cost, schedule and benefits are agreed to by all stakeholders

  • Support development of cost/benefit assessments and solution recommendations

  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations

  • Manage the project plans in MS Projects and Planview (PPM Pro)

  • Develop and maintain project schedule and resource plans including staffing and capital spend and expense forecast

  • Facilitate project meetings such as team standups, project planning, issue resolution and artifact review, and ensure conclusive results with published follow-up action items

  • Utilize Jira Software per project to create and manage user stories, projects and dashboards

  • Ensure that project risks are identified, communicated and mitigated for successful project completion

  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders, users, external vendors and internal IT

  • Be self-sufficient, requiring minimal supervision, independent but good team player

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' degree or equivalent business experience required.

  • 8+ years extensive experience in leading complex IT projects

  • 8+ years' experience in Project Management

  • 8+ years' experience in one or more areas of business or IT

  • Demonstrated competency in management of multiple large projects

  • 5+ years' experience with Agile Methodology

  • 5+ years' experience with system integration

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and MS Projects

  • Proficiency in Jira

  • IT Project Management and delivery of complex projects across multiple systems, stakeholders, locations and time zones

  • Responsible for overall project health - status, financials, tasks, risks, issues, resourcing, next steps

  • ERP - Oracle eBusiness systems experience

  • Proficient in Agile methodology - Scrum and Kanban

  • Superior Communicator - at both team and senior executive levels

  • Self-Starter - Ability to forge ahead using own initiative

  • Lead and manage the Business teams along with Internal and External IT teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years' experience Manufacturing Industry Experience

  • Exposure to and understanding of manufacturing operations

  • System Integration experience

  • Business Analysis and Functional requirements definition

  • Proficient in Change Management

Travel:

  • Approximately 10-15%

Salary Range:The salary range for this position is $94,400.00 - 141,600.00 USD. The salary range may be higher or lower depending on the applicant's location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.
