What part will you play?

The Content Engineer will build interactive, dynamic and unique experiences for clients. They will work with the client to shape their ideas and incorporate them into a digital signage content management system (CMS). Demonstrations, documentation, and client/user training are additional responsibilities.

Discover new ways to push the boundaries of what a device can do. Collaborate with others to create innovative ideas and solutions. This position is for people who are curious, driven, and enjoy bringing creative experiences to life. You will engineer content using numerous CMS platforms. Our creative services, design and content engineering team, pushes the boundaries while working with the latest technologies.

What will you be doing?

  • Work closely with our clients and their teams to provide technical solutions and strategies to achieveclient's digital signage objectives
  • Develop specification guidelines for client and agency partners
  • Lead the configuration of dynamic and interactive content
  • Implement, monitor and troubleshoot external data feeds
  • Work with 3rdparty vendors
  • Partner with sales and engineering teams to recommend optimal CMS solutions for hardware and software
  • Work with our design and project management teams to ensure project success
  • Coordinate with design to operate within the capabilities of the CMS and hardware
  • Encode/transcode various media files
  • Understand multiple resolution requirements
  • Archive and organize assets to maintain a master digital library

Complexity:

The content engineer needs to have a deep understanding of all technical aspects of systems design and CMS. This position works collaboratively with sales, design, engineering, content management, project management and our clients. This position requires a unique set of skills to be successful: Adobe Creative Suite, CMS platforms and customer service skills. This position must be able to maintain professionalism under pressure while paying a high level of attention to detail. A thorough understanding and ability to communicate the system requirements and the client's needs, is vital to maintain expectations between all the stakeholders.

Decision Making Authority:

This position has a high level of autonomy. Prioritization management is critical, maintaining key deliverables on a day-to-day basis. Participate in project groups while providing support along with guidance. Mentoring and developing team members. Proven ability to take direction and develop solutions.

Travel:

Remote, Office and travel for client meetings. ~30%

What do we require from you?

Education/Certifications:

  • Associates/Bachelors degree required and/or equivalent experience.
  • Other relevant or related certifications qualify

Required/Desired Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

  • Three years or more of experience in digital signage CMS platforms (Korbyt, Intuiface, 22 Miles, Broadsign, Bright Author, AppSpace) preferred
  • Expertise in defining and scaling content strategies and processes preferred
  • Collaborating with large brand agencies
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft Office products required
  • Skilled in the use of graphics editing products related to video and animation preferred
  • Strong communication skills, technical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Creative and Critical thinking (experience generating innovative solutions) preferred
  • Experience working with RSS/XML/JSON/HTML/CSS preferred
