About the Role

The Executive Group Director is an exceptional leader of teams who inspires others to act courageously. They analyze our clients' challenges in order to present viable solutions. They identify and inspire new workstreams that lead to growth by collaborating with and drawing upon the expertise of Ogilvy's vast resources and capabilities. The Executive Group Director is a valued advisor and partner to senior brand managers and marketing directors, as well as agency leaders at similar levels. They champion great creative work and understand the importance of flawless delivery.

What You'll Do
  • Manage a large integrated account for an automotive client.
  • Nurture and grow key senior client relationships as a trusted advisor, objective insider, and advocate for the entire client organization.
  • Drive all aspects of client service, including strategy, program development, and execution-leading growth and development of their respective practice area.
  • Lead strategic development for client, providing targeted, actionable insights.
  • Manage client P&L, business growth, and an operating target margin.
  • Tracking client satisfaction and associated performance metrics
  • Initiate thought leadership projects that add value to our clients' businesses and enhance our reputation.
  • Partner with leadership to ensure appropriate resources are available to deliver and drive client growth efficiently.
  • Manage integrated agency teams, inspiring action and teamwork across departments.
  • Attract and retain core talent; managing, developing, and maintaining high levels of team potential, effectiveness and satisfaction.
  • Work closely with HR on performance reviews and goal setting for your team; setting aggressive yet achievable performance goals for self and team members.
  • Cultivate an atmosphere that embraces diversity and inclusion.
What You'll Need
  • 11-14 years' advertising or marketing experience, including 6+ years of supervisory experience
  • Experience managing a large regional/global integrated client and/or portfolio of clients' businesses. (Automotive or Luxury experience preferred.)
  • Fluency in integrated and digital communications, with an understanding of the complex, fragmented media landscape
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Inspirational leadership and infectious enthusiasm, with the ability to drive creative excellence through category and industry experience.
  • Proven success coaching and managing team members to deliver and grow in their respective roles.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. Pay Range
$125,000$295,000 USD
