Description/Job Summary

SUMMARY:

Responsible for accurately processing all rebates and sales tracings submitted by assigned channel partners, as well as maintaining a dynamic working relationship with each account.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned:

  • Monitor and maintain all related rebate and sales tracings data for assigned EDI and manually processed accounts.
  • Accountable for administering and validating large volumes of data efficiently and accurately. Participate in data quality audits to ensure that systems are precise (i.e. contract parameters, product pricing, product unit of measure, etc.).
  • Generate rebate credits and sales tracings in order to determine end user information.
  • Maintain facility demographic data as well as all applicable buying group affiliations.
  • Provide channel partners with monthly rebate discrepancy reports that reflect denied rebate claim dollars as well as highlight data errors that require further attention. Work with Department Management for all activities related to the Rebate Discrepancy Settlement Process.
  • Strive to sustain and further develop working relationships with assigned channel partner accounts.
  • Work closely with other team members and departments to research and help resolve rebate and sales tracing related issues. Identify and report systemic or recurring problems to Department Management.
  • Work within the team for any special projects that are assigned to the department. For example, performing system testing and coordinating such activities with other members of the organization. In addition, work with department management to develop pertinent testing scenarios.
  • Assist Department Management with training new Rebate Coordinators as well as cross-training existing employees on Rebate Administration systems and processes.
Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree (A.A.) from a two-year College or two to three years of related work experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with proficiency in Excel and Word is required.
  • Proficiency in SAP is preferred as daily use of SAP is required in this position.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Regular, reliable attendance with the ability to work outside the normal work schedule is required. This may require additional hours as business demand dictates.
  • Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to work in a smoke-free office work environment, frequently sitting and using a computer and telephone.
  • Required to frequently sit, talk and hear, reach with hands and arms, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and attend, participate, and interact with employees and management in various meetings.
  • May occasionally be required to bend, stoop, and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds (normal office related equipment and supplies).
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • The noise level in the office work environment is usually quiet.
