What you'll do:

The AVP, Portfolio Manager position is responsible for analyzing, structuring, underwriting and coordinating the closing of major and complex Technology At Bridge Bank, the AVP, Portfolio Manager position is responsible for analyzing, structuring, underwriting, seeking approval and coordinating the closing of loans for emerging growth Technology companies. The candidate will help manage the credit risk of the loan portfolio. This position will be part of a larger, growing team that will be focused on increasing market penetration in the greater New York technology ecosystem and may include market facing activities. The AVP, Portfolio Manager is responsible for assuring compliance with all Bridge Bank policies and procedures, as well as, all applicable state and federal banking regulations.

What we are looking for:

  • Work closely as part of the Team to developnew and maintain existingclient relationships whileensuring a timely credit process from start to finish

  • With the Team, interface with companies in-person, virtually, over the phone and via email to get an understanding of the underlying business, to assess credit needs and to request due diligence materials to aid in providing the best credit structure

  • Gather and analyze due diligence materials to present along with the Team, a financing request to senior management and Loan Committee for approval

  • Coordinate processing of approved loans in line with the approval and assist in solving problems relative to processing and servicing of loans withinthe Team's portfolio

  • Provide superior customer service along with appropriate follow-through with involved customers and employees

  • Assist with onboarding new clients and manage account requests / issues for existing clients

  • Handle other underwriting, portfolio management and upkeep tasks and responsibilities related to new loan requests and/or the existing Relationship Managers portfolio

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\s Degree from a 4 year college or university degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting

  • Minimum 3 years technology underwriting experience at a financial institution

  • Exceptional credit knowledge and underwriting skills in Commercial lending

  • Experience, knowledge and training in financial statement analysis from prior jobs

  • Demonstrated portfolio management skills through timely identification of credit concerns to the Teams attention

  • Outstanding interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment

  • Excellent ability to juggle multiple tasks and processes at once

  • Self-starters with an entrepreneurial attitude and a positive outlook thrive at Bridge Bank

Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $116,325.00 - $134,256.00 for New York, NY. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned and restricted stock.
