The Product Enablement Team sits within the Enablement and Optimization hub, which rolls up to the Business Transformation Office.

The Product Learning Designer is responsible for bridging the gap between product development and various organizations across Link. Their primary focus is to empower end-users with in-depth product knowledge, streamlined documentation & communication, and enhance overall efficiency.

In addition to supporting technology enablement, the Product Learning Designer, in partnership with the Director of Product Enablement, will be accountable for fostering a business environment that pushes Link to be agile and change-ready and will support the development of organizational best practices for leveraging product enablement across the technology department.

Responsibilities:

Enablement:

  • Tailor content to meet the unique requirements of different teams (e.g., property ops teams need concise, customer-facing information, while engineers may require technical details).
  • Develop in-depth technical knowledge and hands-on working experience on the products we support
  • Design, develop, and deliver learner-centric programs that effectively educate internal teams on features, benefits, and usage of new and updated Link technology products
  • Implement strategies to ensure relevant teams have easy access to the correct information at the right time
  • Produce high-quality, detailed, and clear training materials (presentations, video tutorials, job aids, how-to guides, FAQs).
  • Develop a centralized repository for product-related content, including user guides, FAQs, release notes, and technical specifications.
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends in product training and adult learning theory
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends and use cases leveraging a Digital Adoption Platform
  • Collaborate with the product development team to ensure that the training materialsare up-to-date and aligned with the latest product features and updates with each agiledevelopment/release cycle
  • Collaborate with Link Learning & Development team to adhere to Link's learningprinciples and vision; align product training with new joiner onboarding programswhere relevant
  • Continuously improve content based on feedback, industry best practices, and evolving product features.

Analytical/Reporting:

  • Take part in the needs assessment process to identify product knowledge gaps and product enablement needs
  • Work with the Director of Product Enablement to develop data-driven program objectives and key results, balancing stakeholder feedback, operational readiness, and internal team efficiency.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of product training programs from various teams and work with the director to make recommendations for improvements
  • Monitor adoption rates and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product enablement.
  • Measure the impact of enablement services on team productivity, customer satisfaction, and overall business success.
  • Use project management skills to break down work into process steps, develop schedules, and work within time constraints

People/Soft Skills:

  • Provide mentorship and coaching to more junior team members
  • Provide ongoing support to training staff and trainees to ensure they have a thorough understanding of Link's products
  • Focus on advancing the product skills of internal Link employees on projects and products we support
  • Build and keep strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders

Business Acumen:

  • Be an internal advocate and promoter, connecting stakeholders to our vision/strategy.
  • Collaborate with project leaders and team members to build and maintain solid relationships with executives, leadership stakeholders, and business departments
  • Run disciplined meetings with a specific purpose/agenda, the right individuals and clear outcomes/next steps
  • Behave in an inclusive, respectful manner while encouraging the same from others
  • Use good judgement and raise issues, risks, and net new requirements to the product enablement director.
  • Display a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business and technology to drive better adoption and results

Qualifications:

Required Education & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a product or technology environment and/or similar
  • 3-5 years of experience in an enablement role
  • A proven track record of developing learning and enablement materials that drive user adoption, reduce friction and are designed using human design or learn design principles.
  • Demonstrated understanding of adult learning theory, human-centered design, and the product development lifecycle
  • Demonstrated knowledge of instructional design best practices
  • Experience in leveraging Articulate360, Rise, or other e-learning development software; experience leveraging Workday learning a plus
  • Knowledge of waterfall and agile development methodologies (ADDIE, SAM1, SAM2)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and effectively manage relationships with stakeholders, senior management, and staff working independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to rapidly gain/build trust and confidence of internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to learn new areas quickly
  • Able to work independently
  • Ability to transparently manage time and priorities and interact with directors and leadership for prioritization decisions
  • Ability to code-switch between communication styles and vocabularies fluidly and appropriate to context and audience
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage highly complex and dynamic business datapoints
  • Experience in the real estate industry is a plus, particularly in the Industrial & Logistics sector
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking and styles
  • Domestic travel may be required up to 20%

$90,000 - $110,000 represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link.Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
