Job Description

The Claims Analyst is responsible for the support of the Environmental Claim and Construction Defect claim groups to ensure timely and accurate processing and exceptional customer service. The Analyst is accountable for assisting the managers in the set up of new claims, supporting the adjusters with daily tasks, maintaining data integrity within special projects and compliance with company policies and procedures.

This position is remote with preference for candidate to be in Morristown, NJ or Southfield, MI or within a local office of C&F.

What you will do for C&F:

    Assist in the set up and assignment of new incoming claims which includes identification of the appropriate policy(ies) and coverage.
  • Assist the claim handlers with daily tasks
  • Maintain proper file documentation on all activities and issues
  • Track trial and mediation dates
  • Track appeals and results
  • Update Watchlist cases
  • Prepares and submits expense reports for approval
  • Participate in special projects using Excel and PowerPoint applications
  • Address questions, concerns and issues from outside parties: insured's, agents, state agencies, injured employees and attorneys
  • Provide superior customer service to agents, insureds and others during the claims handling process

What you will bring to C&F:

  • College degree preferred, consideration will be given to candidates with appropriate work experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of programs
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential

The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $53,500.00 to a maximum of $89,100.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee's contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs
