Position Description

Position Purpose:
* Manage the financial controls, business, marketing aspects and the food services functions for the Executive Dining Facilities for RBCCM.

Key Accountabilities:
* Co-ordinate and oversee: 1) all activities of the Service Provider Employees, 2) all functions including board meetings, luncheons, dinners, receptions, etc. for RBCCM WFC.
* Prepare daily and weekly event schedules
* Manage the business aspect of the Dining Room Services including monthly reconciliation and verification of all applicable costs incurred by the Service Provider and subsequently passed on to RBC
* Continual monitoring of Dining Room business plan including all costs incurred by the Service Provider, cost trending, and recoverables from RBC user groups, to determine appropriate intervention requiredie status quo, reduce costs, increase prices, incresase usage, etc
* Maintain an ongoing awareness/marketing program with RBC Executive to ensure usage of the facilities is maximized.
* Annually validate the entire menu’s ensuring appropriate meal offerings and pricing
* Ensure meal preparation is in accordance with the pre-determined menu’s, prepare special request meals on an exception basis only and amend prices for special request meals to ensure appropriately recovery.
* Ensure food quality is of a standard appropriate for the function and that all dietary guidelines are metfor example:
o High - Top Executives/Clients, Dignitaries, very special occasions
o Medium - luncheons, meetings, special occasions with larger groups
o Cost effective meals for luncheons, meetings/functions with RBC staff
* Oversee food services activities at employee Café Royal to ensure food quality, service, cleanliness and competitive pricing are maintained.

Job Requirements: (Knowledge/ Experience):
* 3 to 5 years of experience managing the financial controls, business, marketing aspects and the food services functions for the Executive Dining Facilities for RBCCM.
